Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a K 2 adaptive classroom at Wells Elementary in Wilson, NC.
The classroom serves approximately 14 students and is supported by 2 Teacher Assistants (TAs) . Students include children who are non-verbal and/or on the autism spectrum . This is a separate classroom setting; specific push-in/push-out service requirements are not currently available.
Key Responsibilities:Candidates must be comfortable assisting students with bathroom needs, including toileting and/or changing, when required.
