Job ticket in hand, you verify specs, stage plates and blankets, fine-tune detectors and guides, and keep the run on pace with clean, consistent quality. The shift

2nd Shift: Mon–Th, 2:30 PM–12:00 AM

What you’ll do

• Confirm job order specifications and department instructions so the correct materials and settings are used throughout the run.
• Mount and remove printing and coating blankets.
• Pack plate and blanket cylinders to meet press and paperboard requirements.
• Set and adjust double-sheet detectors, side guides, headstops, and gripper fingers.
• Monitor the offset spray powder supply and replenish as needed.
• Retrieve, hang, and remove printing plates.
• Pitch in with related tasks as assigned to keep the pressroom running smoothly.

What you bring

• At least 1 year of experience operating a multi-color offset, flexographic, or gravure press—or serving as an assistant/Second Pressman on a multi-color offset crew.
• Reading and writing proficiency and basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), including comfort with fractions and decimals.
• Focus and initiative: you notice fine details, perform careful inspections, and maintain concentration even with background activity.
• Accurate color discrimination.
• High school education.
