Job Summary:

This is a full-time (hybrid) position supporting a high-profile Healthcare client. Candidates should live close to the Portland, ME area and have access to broadband internet.

The Health & Wellbeing Specialist is a client-dedicated team member, focused on building a culture of health, enhancing health and wellbeing engagement, and driving health behavior change through awareness and activation. The Health & Wellbeing Specialist works directly with the client wellbeing manager and collaborates with client’s HR, benefits, and/or stakeholder teams. This position will require attendance onsite as needed at various locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Travel is required between these locations to support health and wellbeing initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with onsite wellness manager to design, develop, communicate, and execute an annual health and wellbeing programming plan, in alignment with client’s strategic goals and priorities.
  • Serve as an integrated partner and the face of health and wellbeing to the client population, guiding members to appropriate resources and offerings.
  • Identify opportunities with comprehensive communication plan and implementation of deliverables.
  • Build, engage, nurture, lead and drive engagement of the Wellness Champion Network across key client locations.
  • Develop, curate, and maintain engaging content across the organization's wellbeing platform to drive employee utilization, participation, enhance user experience, and promote overall wellbeing. Continuously identify and implement innovative content, interactive features, and digital engagement strategies that keep the platform fresh, relevant, and impactful.
  • Collaborate in developing engaging health awareness initiatives and campaigns designed to represent workplace culture and address the unique needs of the workforce.
  • Support, monitor, and coordinate Employee Resource Group (ERG) activities to foster engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Leverage community partnerships to support client goals including initiatives related to social determinants of health, diversity and inclusion, health, and holistic wellbeing (mental, physical, community/social, financial, and safety).
  • Collaborate with the client’s vendor partners to identify opportunities for health awareness and engagement, and to drive utilization of established wellbeing programs, tools and resources.
  • Drive localized health engagement and awareness through educational opportunities including, but not limited to, seminars, webinars, department presentations, and stop-by-tables.
  • Conduct regular data assessment, monitor, evaluate, and respond to program measurements and participant feedback and reporting to internal and external stakeholders, to define opportunities, track impact, and determine next best steps.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in the health and wellbeing field.
  • 2+ years’ of experience developing and implementing wellbeing programs.
  • 2+ years’ of experience developing implementing and overseeing well-being champion programs.
  • 2+ years’ of experience curating and personalizing wellbeing platform components that foster meaningful engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in corporate wellbeing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify processes and organize resources to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management; using time effectively and efficiently while prioritizing appropriately.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize digital platforms, applications, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building and project management skills.
  • Detail oriented with thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task, while demonstrating concern for all areas involved.
  • Outstanding ability to deliver presentations at all levels within an organization, to diverse audiences and groups and via multiple modalities including virtually and in-person, when appropriate.
  • Strong customer service orientation skilled at establishing and maintaining effective relationships across diverse groups and individuals within an organization; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, data analytics, forecasting, AI applications, and digital platform management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health promotion or other health related field such as public health, community health, nutrition, exercise physiology etc.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $91,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
