We assist our clients with activities of daily living at the client's home or nursing home and help them maintain quality of life. As a caregiver you will work with seniors doing tasks such as: * Assisting with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and medication reminding * Meal preparation * Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing * Run errands and transportation * Companionship * Transfers and assisting client with walking Qualifications * Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations * Reliable transportation (required) * Clean CAPS background check (required) * We provide paid training for all job duties, so don't worry if you have limited caregiving experience. * At least 18 years old (required) This job is ideal for someone who : * Enjoys working in a one-on-one setting * Is eager to improve and continuously learn new skills * Has good oral and written English * Has excellent phone and communication skills * Has experience working in the home health industry * Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous * People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects * Adaptable/flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction * SEEKING STABLE AND LONG-TERM EMPLOYMENT - We have clients, and we need caregivers to fill shifts ongoing.
