Job Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an entry-level Virtual Assistant to join their fully remote team. This is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented self-starter to build a career in administrative support while working alongside a team that values reliability, clear communication, and a can-do attitude.

Day to day, you will juggle a mix of calendar coordination, inbox triage, data entry, and ad hoc research requests, often shifting priorities as new tasks come in. People who thrive in this role are proactive communicators who do not need to be micromanaged, stay calm when the to-do list gets long, and take pride in keeping someone else's work life running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize executive or team calendars and scheduling requests
  • Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate virtual meetings including agendas, links, and reminders
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized digital files
  • Conduct basic internet research and compile findings into clear summaries
  • Assist with travel arrangements and itinerary planning as needed
  • Prepare simple documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Track tasks and deadlines using project management tools
  • Handle general administrative requests and ad hoc projects
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, associate or bachelor degree a plus
  • Prior internship, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Comfortable learning new scheduling, communication, and project management tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Fully remote position with flexible scheduling
  • Home office equipment stipend
  • Opportunities for professional development and skill growth
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Paid training during onboarding
