Technical Specialist Mid Level

Client: State of North Carolina

Location: North Carolina

The State of North Carolina is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Technical Specialist to provide technical expertise and support for enterprise technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and expertise for assigned applications, systems, and technology projects.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Assist with system configuration, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot application, system, and technical issues and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Support system integrations, data exchanges, and application workflows as required.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, specifications, and support materials.
  • Perform testing, issue analysis, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Follow established security, compliance, change-management, and technical standards.
  • Identify opportunities for system, workflow, and operational process improvements.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting established project deadlines.
  • Support deployment, implementation, and post-production activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Mid-level experience in IT systems, application support, technical analysis, or related technology roles .
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications and technology projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
