Position Overview:
Client looking for a Senior TBM Administrator / Apptio Team Lead supporting a mature enterprise Technology Business Management environment. The client is specifically seeking a highly technical and hands-on Apptio expert with deep experience supporting mature TBM allocation models, infrastructure cost transparency, Application TCO, and enterprise financial governance processes. This environment is already mature and heavily customized, so they need someone who can quickly understand complex allocation models, refine infrastructure allocations, reduce fallout issues, and help improve Application Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) accuracy across business applications and services.
Top Required Experience:
6 8+ years of hands-on Apptio configuration and administration experience
Strong experience with Apptio Cost Transparency (must-have module)
Deep Technology Business Management (TBM) framework knowledge
Experience refining and maintaining infrastructure/shared services allocation models
Strong understanding of Application TCO methodologies
Experience supporting financial governance, reconciliations, allocation validation, and month-end processes
Ability to work directly with infrastructure/service owners to explain allocation logic and TBM methodology
Experience coaching or leading junior TBMAs/resources
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Strongly Preferred:
ServiceNow integrations and automation modeling
Cloudability ingestion and cloud cost allocation exposure
Experience with multiple Apptio product suites/modules
Clarity integration experience
Financial industry background (insurance/banking preferred)
Certified Apptio expertise
