Senior Paid Search Manager – Google Ads

Location: Austin, TX | In-Office

  • Salary: $90,000–$130,000, depending on experience
  • Benefits:

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on Senior Paid Search Manager to take ownership of Google Ads and paid search performance for a rapidly growing organization.

This is a high-impact role for someone who has personally managed significant Google Ads budgets and knows how to connect advertising spend to qualified leads, customers, revenue, and measurable business results .

You’ll have significant ownership over strategy, execution, optimization, tracking, attribution, and reporting in a fast-moving environment where your work will directly influence growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, manage, and optimize Google Search campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize significant paid search budgets.
  • Improve lead quality, cost per qualified lead, and customer acquisition performance.
  • Own conversion tracking, attribution, and reporting across Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, call tracking, and CRM systems.
  • Analyze search terms, conversion rates, lead quality, funnels, and ROI to identify opportunities.
  • Test ad copy, landing pages, targeting, bidding strategies, and new growth opportunities.
  • Partner with marketing, leadership, intake/sales, and technical teams to improve campaign performance.
  • Identify and eliminate wasted spend while continuously improving campaign efficiency.
  • Leverage AI and automation where appropriate to improve campaign execution, analysis, and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven, hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Experience generating leads, consultations, customers, or signed cases through paid search.
  • Experience personally managing $100K+ per month in Google Ads spend .
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • GA4
    • Google Tag Manager
    • Conversion tracking
    • Call tracking
    • GCLID attribution
    • Offline conversions
  • Strong understanding of CPL, CPA, qualified lead rates, conversion funnels, ROAS, and revenue attribution.
  • Ability to provide specific examples of campaigns you personally managed, optimized, and improved.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
  • Experience in competitive, lead-generation-focused environments.

Nice to Have

  • Personal injury, legal, or other professional services marketing experience.
  • Experience optimizing campaigns toward qualified customers, signed clients, or revenue.
  • CRM integration experience with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Litify, or Filevine.
  • Landing page testing and conversion rate optimization experience.
  • Multi-market or multi-location campaign management.
  • Experience using AI and automation to improve paid search performance.

Industry experience is not required — we’re most interested in candidates who can demonstrate measurable growth and business impact.

Team & Work Environment

You’ll work closely with marketing leadership and a small, collaborative team, giving you significant visibility and ownership.

The role is based in Austin, TX with a preference for in-person collaboration, but there is flexibility for the right candidate. The team values face-to-face interaction while maintaining a practical, flexible work environment.
