As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Gainesville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures access protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances lobbies hallways and other assigned areas offering direction and assistance to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while supporting security-related operations.
• Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents maintenance concerns and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in hospital morgue areas.
• Be able to restrain individuals when required.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
