KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Drywall Finishers (Tape & Texture) to join our Interior Finishing Department. Help deliver high-quality finished interiors for our manufactured homes while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.

Beginning August 31, 2026 , eligible production employees will transition to a NEW Monday–Thursday work schedule (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) , giving you a three-day weekend every week while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.

What You’ll Do
• Apply 1st and 2nd coat taping and mudding to drywall surfaces
• Perform touch-up work to ensure smooth and finished surfaces
• Apply texture finishes, including stomping and other patterns
• Assist with painting and finishing work as needed
• Finish ceilings and wall surfaces to meet quality standards
• Ensure all work meets company quality and production expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals What We’re Looking For
• Previous drywall finishing, tape & texture, or painting experience preferred
• Experience with mudding, taping, texturing, or finishing work
• Proficient with drywall tape and texture tools (bazooka, angle box, seam box, nail spotter, roller, glazing tools)
• Experience applying 1st and 2nd coat finishes with consistent quality and production efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Additional Requirements
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, reach overhead, and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to work on ceilings and elevated surfaces
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements Work Schedule

Until August 28, 2026
  • Monday–Friday
  • Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • After Training: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Overtime and occasional Saturdays as production requires
Beginning August 31, 2026
  • Monday–Thursday
  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Three-Day Weekends Every Week!
