Project Manager - Structural Steel / Misc Metals / PEMB

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects involving structural steel fabrication, miscellaneous metals, and pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). This role will manage projects from award through completion, coordinating between the shop, field, and client to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in steel fabrication and/or erection and a strong understanding of steel project workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Manage structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from kickoff to closeout

Coordinate with fabrication shop, detailers, erectors, and subcontractors

Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and forecasts

Review and manage shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals

Handle change orders, billing, and project documentation

Communicate with clients, general contractors, and internal teams

Ensure quality, safety, and contractual compliance

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in structural steel, misc metals, or PEMB fabrication/erection

Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
