Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and business intelligence analytics.

• Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

• Experience with Power BI Data Gateways, enterprise connection configurations, and MySQL databases.

• Experience in data extraction, statistical transformations, and data manipulation utilizing SAS.

• Experience with education data frameworks including the Ed-Fi Data Standard and Educator Preparation Data Model (EPDM).

• Experience in authoring deployment runbooks, technical system documentation, and Microsoft .NET architectures.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end data pipelines feeding interactive Power BI dashboards.

• Build and optimize ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

• Configure and administer Power BI Data Gateways, connection strings, and automated data refresh schedules.

• Implement data pipeline integrations across MySQL databases, SAS systems, and educational data models.

• Author step-by-step deployment instructions for transitioning code into test and production environments.

• Participate in dashboard governance committees to evaluate project feasibility and calculate development timelines.

• Troubleshoot complex data display errors, availability bottlenecks, and infrastructure migration issues.
