Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)  is adding a  Physician Assistant - Pulmonary  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds.  To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pulmonary care for patients with asthma, COPD, lung cancer, infectious respiratory diseases, sleep disorders, interstitial lung disease (ILD), bronchiectasis, pulmonary nodules, dyspnea, and other acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
• Evaluate and manage patients through specialized pulmonary clinics, including Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and Pulmonary Hypertension programs.
• Participate in an expanding Lung Cancer Program, including lung cancer screening, pulmonary nodule evaluation, and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Collaborate with advanced bronchoscopy-trained pulmonologists in the evaluation and biopsy of lung nodules using state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836*based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure. 

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**,  which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
