Job Description

We are seeking dedicated machine operators to join our team in a 24/7 operation. The role involves producing innovative stackable bullets designed to neutralize drones, which are shipped daily to the US Marine Corps and Army.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to work instructions and specifications.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the machines, including checking oil levels and monitoring tool wear.
• Meet daily production requirements with a minimum of 70% efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper machine feeding during production runs.
• Perform routine inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate more complex problems as needed.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in assembly, machine operation, production, or racking.

• Previous machine operation experience is preferred, including press machines, CNC, and grinders.

Employees receive a pay raise after 90 days based on performance, with further increases as they gain the ability to operate multiple machines.

Work Environment

The industrial environment is not temperature-controlled and can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Despite this, the area is maintained fairly clean for an industrial setting. Shifts are structured as 10-hour shifts with a 10% shift premium for the second shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, MI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Milan,MI.
