Aerial Telecom Linemanwill handlenew business projects within our Telecom Constructiondivision. It's also a great opportunity to be part of the team establishing Team Fishelas the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of Indiana as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
Planning and Initiating Projects
Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
Setting Poles
Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
Tree Trimming
Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
Must have 1+ years experience in the industry
Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the North Indiana area
Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
Team Fishelwill provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
