Job Description
To maintain all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration system and all associated equipment, to its maximum capability at journeyman level. To operate energy management control system in an efficient manner.
Knowledge, skills and abilitiesExtensive working knowledge of heating, ventilating, PTAC , geothermal, and air conditioning operations. Must be able to repair and perform maintenance on institutional type equipment. Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints. Demonstrated ability to solve problems with P-tech, heating, air conditioning, geothermal, and ventilation equipment. Understanding of HVAC equipment and tools.
Special licenses, registration or certificationValid Virginia Driver’s license and insurable driving record. Virginia Journeyman mechanical license. Successful completion of a refrigerant transition and recovery course and tests. Certified for Type Universal.
