# Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Regional Healthcare Facility

**Schedule:** On-site coverage with rotating shifts including weekends and nights; 40 hours per week physician coverage with varying shift times
**Highlights:**
– 39-bed emergency department serving approximately 150 patients daily
– General emergency medicine caseload with 35-40 daily admissions
– Non-trauma facility focused on general emergency cases
– No call requirement – shift-based coverage only
– Coverage includes main facility and associated freestanding emergency departments
– Brief 1-2 day orientation and shadowing program
– One-year contract duration with minimum 8 shifts per month requirement
**Requirements:**
– Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required
– Active and unrestricted state medical license
– DEA certification
– Willingness to provide coverage at multiple facility locations
– Availability for weekend and night shift rotation
