Position Overview

Editor / Content Producer - Delphi Media

We’re looking for a highly skilled Editor / Content Producer to support Delphi’s growing media output, with a focus on turning podcast recordings into polished longform episodes and high-performing shortform clips.

This role will work closely with the Delphi Media team to shape raw footage into cohesive, engaging content while identifying and extracting the most compelling moments for social distribution.

What you’ll do

● Cut shortform clips (X, IG, TikTok, Shorts) that highlight the strongest, most shareable moments
● Edit full podcast episodes into clean, structured, high-quality longform content
● Craft strong hooks, pacing, and narrative flow to maximize retention
● Create engaging short form clips about current events in tech from various external shows
● Pull surface standout insights, quotes, and reactions from recordings
● Add light graphics, captions, music, and sound design where appropriate
● Collaborate closely on creative direction, notes, and fast-turnaround edits

What we’re looking for

● Strong editorial taste and instincts, especially for conversation driven content
● Proven ability to turn longform footage into compelling shortform clips
● Fast, efficient, and detail-oriented execution
● Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and what performs on social
● Good eye for design and strong ability to follow established branding
● Comfortable working in a fast-moving, feedback-driven environment

Tools & experience

● Proficiency in The Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve or other editing/creative software
● Experience with podcasts, interviews, or creator-led content preferred
● A general understanding of Figma to create and edit templated UIs and/or storyboarding

What success looks like

● Podcast episodes feel tight, intentional, and on-brand
● Shortform clips consistently capture the best moments and drive distribution
● Fast, reliable turnaround with minimal oversight
