Chicago or New York location required, for 3 days per week onsite in our office

Copywriter, Creative Development

We are seeking a Copywriter, Creative Development to join our team, working on one of our newest client wins. You will create a variety of deliverables for fully integrated campaigns including TV, social posts, online video, storyboards, and more. You will report to a Creative Director and be paired with an Art Director.

  • You’ll develop creative solutions that live across all forms of media and reflect a firm understanding of the communications objective, client nuances and timing/budget parameters.
  • You’ll collaborate with a partner on projects of any size, scope and style through to completion.
  • You’ll concept and write against all deliverables, developing campaigns, comps, story boards and mockups across multiple projects, deliverables and clients simultaneously.
  • You’ll contribute work to new business pitches.
  • You’ll manage the daily progress of projects from start to finish.
  • You’ll collaborate with Producers, Designers, Client Leadership, and Strategy Partners across the life span of the project.
  • You understand and find excitement in diverse media outlets, evolving technologies, and current trends.
  • You appreciate the importance of strategy and create compelling, creative solutions that are on brief.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience in creative advertising
  • An online portfolio with conceptual integrated campaign examples
  • Comfortable with production and post-production
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Bachelor’s in advertising, marketing, creative writing or related field; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required
  • We are seeking candidates in the Chicago or New York area, as 3 days per week in office time is required

Additional Information

The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $72,250. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
