J.C. Ramsdell has been in the geomembrane liner industry, for over 30 years. Our job sites are primarily in the midwestern states. Our ideal candidate will travel and install liners, while working to excel themselves within the crew.
JC Ramsdell is looking for full-time employees working towards a long-term position within the company. The company is a unique construction company that requires knowledge of the industry and techniques in geomembrane installation. Position has the opportunity for advancement to a foreman position. The progression of the position within the company will be dependent on individual skill set and motivation to learn. Position is full-time with year-round employment available.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Position requires travel, with a home base of South Dakota (Sioux Falls).
• Travel with crew to sites throughout the United States. Crew travels approximately 180 days a year, and working shop hours when not on the road (located in Flandreau,SD).
• Labor intensive -Must be able to safely lift 75 pounds.
• Grinding, extrusion welding, wedge welding and testing using tensiometer.
• Deploying liner and moving sand bags.
• Cleaning and maintaining a safe and tidy work place.
• Assisting with occasional concrete flat work
• Learn in field procedures. Including welding techniques, QA/QC and general operation of light machinery.
• Individual will spend first 30 days learning the industry and business

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for self-motivated, independent thinking people that realize that their growth within our company is based on their individual ability to excel.

Possession of a valid Driver's License, is required.

Ability to pass employment drug and alcohol screening.

Strong work ethic with good communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Compensation:

• Compensation will be based on current skills
• Full time position with Health Insurance and 401K, when eligible, paid holidays and paid leave.
• Position includes paid travel time and daily perdiem reimbursement
• Shared hotel expense paid by company
• Yearly bonus based on job site performance

Job Type: Full-time

Site Pay $30.00-$40.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
